OriginalVoices raises £1M pre-seed to feed AI systems real human opinions

The twins represent individuals' views and preferences, and can be accessed through tools including ChatGPT and Claude. The company also runs Twineo, a consumer app for creating and training the twins, which has amassed tens of thousands of profiles since launching in December 2025.

Why now? Co-founder and chief executive officer David Dobrin argues that as AI models grow more capable, they still lack direct insight into human feedback and often rely on assumptions from their training data. OriginalVoices offers "confidence that AI decisions and outputs are grounded in real human perspective and audience understanding," Dobrin said.

What's next? The company has partnered with market research firm YouGov to launch YouGov Parallax, a joint product combining YouGov's panel data with OriginalVoices' digital twin infrastructure. Beyond the funding, it plans to develop its real-time data technology, build more partnerships, and grow revenue with a sharper focus on the US.

The signal: As synthetic audiences and AI-generated personas proliferate, OriginalVoices is betting the market will pay for verified human input instead. The round is modest, but it lands in a niche where trust in the data feeding AI is becoming a competitive edge.
