The Wall Street Journal reports Nvidia is in talks to provide about $250 billion in financing guarantees to help OpenAI lease a huge data center campus being developed by SoftBank’s SB Energy in Piketon.
In March, SB Energy announced the investment at the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant. The project is expected to cost a total of more than $500 billion.
Gov. Mike DeWine said Monday the project will be a “game changer” for the area.
